Clubs & Activities
At Adobe Middle School, we firmly encourage students to participate in activities beyond the normal school day. Doing so lets youth interact with their peers and adults outside of their regular classroom environment, pursue individual interests, and develop new skills.
We offer a wide range of consistently popular activities for all our students.
Art Club
All Adobe students are welcome to join us after school (2:30–3:00 p.m.) every other Wednesday in the art room, C-Hall #21. Students will make decorations and stage sets and experiment with a variety of art projects.
Advisor: Mrs. Wells
Archery Club
We meet on Thursday after school, in the large gym, from 3:25 to 5:00 p.m. This is a year-long club that will begin on September and end on May 16, 2023.
Fee: $20 which covers equipment maintenance.
Advisors: Mr. Brawley and Mr. Maderis
Hydroponics Club
The club uses a 19 Deep Water Culture systems to grow plants. They will be able to plant and keep the plants they grow.

FCCLA
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a national Career and Technical Student Organization. To promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education. Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner and community leader, members develop skills for life through: character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation.
Both 7th and 8th graders are welcome to join and participate.

NJHS
The National Junior Honor Society recognizes outstanding students throughout the United States. Since 1921, the NJHS has served to honor students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
Math Counts
MATHCOUNTS offers fun and engaging programs that get middle school students excited about math. Come have some mathematics fun and help our team prepare for the annual competition. Advisor: Mrs. Alexander
Science Club
We welcome all students interested in STEM education and the sciences to meet with us on every other Wednesday from 2:15 to 3:00 p.m. in room 30.
Advisor: Mrs. Costa
STEM Club
Students will have the opportunity to participate in stimulating and challenging STEM activities, and explore related careers. The STEM club meets every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, (with the exception of December and April due to school breaks), from 3:25 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. All students must be picked up by 4:15 p.m.

Student Council meets after school on Mondays in room #13.

Theatre Club
Whether you're interested in learning more about the aspects of theater or you just love to have fun, the drama club is a great way to be involved and meet lifelong friends. Once plays have been cast, the club will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:15 p.m.

Yearbook
There’s lots to do before yearbooks can go on sale at the end of the school year! Meet with us after school to help us pull it all together and create something your fellow students will treasure for a lifetime.
