🌱 Hydroponics Club is Growing Strong! 🌱
Our Hydroponics Club is taking learning to the next level, literally growing their knowledge! Students are cultivating a variety of plants, from colorful flowers and flavorful spices to crisp types of lettuce, all starting from seedlings.
Members carefully monitor pH levels and water quality to ensure each plant gets the perfect balance of nutrients. Through hands-on science, they’re discovering the future of sustainable growing and having fun watching their hard work come to life—one leaf at a time!

Mrs. Turner's 8th grade social studies class had an incredible opportunity to explore the justice system firsthand during their courthouse field trip! Students got to sit in all areas of the courtroom and hear from local professionals who shared their expertise.
Students spoke with Glen Ingham, Director of Northeastern Nevada Juvenile Detention Center; Heather Plager, Chief Juvenile Probation Officer; Judge Simons; Chad Thompson, Chief Criminal Deputy District Attorney; and Steffanie Foster, Chief Civil Deputy Public Defender.
Both groups asked thoughtful, engaging questions throughout the visit. What a valuable learning experience for our students!

🎉 Way to go, Sophia Orantes.! 🎉
Sophia earned an impressive 75 points through her hard work and positive attitude! She showed incredible growth by improving 90% on her math tests and mastering key topics. 🌟
At our school, students earn HAWKS points for showing Honesty, Academics, Work Ethic, Kindness, and Safety — and Sophia has been saving hers for a special goal…
🥧 That’s right — she used her points to pie Mr. Brawley in the face! 🥧
We’re so proud of Sophia’s determination, growth, and commitment to learning — and we think Mr. Brawley is so proud too (even if he’s still wiping off the whipped cream)! 😄

Adobe Middle School Shines a Light on Mental Health Awareness
At Adobe Middle School, promoting mental health awareness is more than just a theme—it’s a movement built on kindness, connection, and community. Each year, the school dedicates time to focus on emotional well-being, teaching students that taking care of their minds is just as important as taking care of their bodies.
This year, Adobe’s Mental Health Awareness initiative centered around activities that encouraged students to move, connect, and express themselves. The school’s annual Color Run served as the highlight event, bringing together students, staff, and families for a day filled with color, laughter, and positive energy.
The event was made possible by our generous sponsors—Mudd Hutt, Zero Suicides Elko County, Larry Robb, Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital (NNRH), and Kairos Recovery. Without their contributions, this inspiring event would not have been possible.
